Price Calculator Guide
This is how our price calculator works: from upload to order. No surprises, just immediate insight into price, settings and delivery time.
How does it work?
Upload File
Upload your 3D model to the price calculator. We currently support STL and OBJ. Your file must use millimeters (mm) and have a closed (watertight) mesh.
Choose settings
Choose material, quality (layer height), infill and support — the same options as in the calculator itself. The price and estimated print time are updated immediately.
Place order
Add your print to the cart and check out. An account is required for checkout; after your order, you can close that account again if you wish — we are here for production, not your data.
Production
After payment, we start printing. You receive a confirmation by email. We remove the support material; we are working on a feature that lets you remove supports yourself to save costs.
Shipping or pickup
Shipping is the usual option. Pickup by appointment is also possible. The delivery time is shown in the cart; a standard print is often shipped within 1–3 working days.
Receive your order
Your print arrives carefully packaged. Not satisfied or have questions? Feel free to contact us.
Settings in the price calculator
In the right-hand column of the calculator, you configure the same options per model as during ordering:
Material
Choose the material family and color (e.g. white PLA). Price and availability depend on the selected filament.
Quality
Layer height determines how fine the surface will be (e.g. 0.08–0.30 mm). Thicker layers are faster and cheaper; thinner layers provide more detail.
Infill / Strength
The infill percentage and pattern determine how solid the inside of the print is — important for strength and weight.
Support
Overhangs often require support (e.g. tree support). Support uses extra material and time; we remove it after printing.
Advanced
Under Advanced, you can adjust settings such as wall thickness and the number of top and bottom layers. A wall thickness of 0.8 mm is recommended for most parts.
Dimensions, files and price
Cost-effective printing
Prints within 256 × 256 × 256 mm are generally the most cost-effective. Does your model not fit? Larger dimensions are possible — up to around 450 × 450 × 500 mm, sometimes even larger — but print and delivery times increase more quickly.
