In the second half of 2026, we moved to a completely new website. printics.nl is now our new site; the old environment remains available at legacy.printics.nl for viewing and downloads.
We are moving step by step. Below you can read what changes in each phase. Phase 3 is where we are now.
beta.printics.nl was a beta version of our new website. You could place test orders; no real payments were processed yet.
You could already test features here, such as a user account. Security was already fully in place, but at that stage there was no guarantee that data would be retained.
You could actually place orders. These were likely final and were taken into production.
If our system still made genuinely unreasonable errors, for example an unfeasible price or print, we refused those orders.
Our new algorithm could sometimes result in a lower price; in that case the new website was more convenient. We welcomed feedback about your experience.
beta.printics.nl is now simply printics.nl. The old website remains available at legacy.printics.nl.
There you can still view old data and, if needed, download files. If we encounter major issues, we may temporarily return to phase 2.
If there are no further issues, the old website will remain available only for viewing. Ordering will no longer be possible there. Everything will go through the new website.
Although we do not send marketing emails, we will send one email or letter to all customers informing them that we will delete customer data after several months, including 3D models from one-off projects.
There will be no migration of old customer data to the new website. We are deliberately making a clean start.
At the end of 2026, all customer data in the old environment will be permanently deleted.
After that, invoices from 2018 through 2026 can only be requested by email.
