In the second half of 2026 we moved to a completely new website. printics.nl is now our site; the old one stays available at legacy.printics.nl for viewing and downloads.
Orders you place yourself on this website still get 10% off.
We do this step by step. Below, each stage says what changes. Stage 4 is where we are now.
beta.printics.nl was a beta of our new website. You could place test orders; no real payment was processed yet.
You could already try features, such as an account. Security was already in place, but there was no guarantee that data would be kept in that stage.
You could place real orders. Those were likely final and we put them into production.
If the system still made a clearly unreasonable mistake, such as an impossible price or print, we refused those orders.
Our new algorithm could sometimes come out lower; then the new website was the better option. We were glad to hear feedback on how it went.
beta.printics.nl became printics.nl. The old website stayed available at legacy.printics.nl.
There you could still view old data, download files and order for a while. If we hit a serious fault, we might temporarily go back to stage 2.
The old website is now only there for viewing. You can no longer order there. Everything goes through the new website.
In this stage, orders you place yourself on printics.nl still get 10% off.
We do not send marketing email, but we will once write or email every customer that we will delete customer data in a few months, including 3D models from one-off projects.
There will be no migration of old customer data to the new website. We are deliberately starting clean.
At the end of 2026 all customer data on the old system will be permanently deleted.
After that, invoices from 2018 to 2026 can only be requested by email.
