General I cannot enter a quantity
In the price calculator you cannot enter a quantity yet. You can do that in the cart, because the price can still come out lower when models and quantities are combined.

Technical Can I use 3MF or STEP files?
The price calculator works with .stl or .obj. Those formats contain 3D data we can use directly. A .3mf file is becoming more common, but it is really a package of data that can vary a lot. Think of print settings for a specific printer, or colours from a manufacturer we do not use. Because of that we cannot yet read a 3MF (or STEP) into the calculator automatically for a price. You do not have to convert the file yourself. Via 3MF / STEP → STL you can have it converted to STL free of charge. Then open the result in the price calculator. If the conversion fails, or the converter is unavailable for a moment, export the file to .stl or .obj yourself, or request a quote. The quote form accepts 3MF files.

General No reply on WhatsApp?
Where we can, we keep our distance from big tech. WhatsApp and other social media are part of that. We find technology fascinating and we take part in developing it, but we do not think customer data needs to be part of that. Now and then we may be in contact via WhatsApp, but that is a rare exception.

General Can I just drop by?
We would rather you did not, and you may find the door closed. Always make an appointment first. You are then very welcome.

Materials Several colours in one print?
We can certainly do that. It is not always straightforward. We can do more than only put a multi-colour printer on the job, and that can save a lot of material and cost. We do have multi-colour printers, but they can sometimes use 10 times more material and print time. For that reason we only do this via a quote request.

Shipping Send a part to you?
By arrangement you can send a part to our business address. You can find the address on the contact page. We will give you a number to add to the parcel, so we know your property will come back to you.

General Why can I not close my account?
When an account is closed, your data really leaves our database. Sometimes a colleague still needs to check whether a track-and-trace delivery actually arrived. If you close the account, we can no longer check that. Once your order is marked complete you can close the account. That can be a few days after delivery.

Materials Which materials are available
Which material is available depends on the 3D model. In general you can order PLA, PLA+, PETG, ABS and ASA yourself straight away. Materials such as resin and TPU are available on request.

Technical What are the maximum print dimensions?
We can print up to half a metre in one piece. Larger sizes are often smarter to produce another way. Prints are usually most economical up to 256x256x256 mm, but 450x450x500 mm is sometimes possible for PLA. We also have ways to fuse split prints into one piece. If needed we can even hide that seam.
